About ChildFlight
ChildFlight provide flights and holidays for sick and deserving children.
For example; children who require medical treatment abroad or who have missed out on childhood experiences, due to illness, or who are socially deserving.
ChildFlight is a children's charity established in 1987. Based at Manchester Airport with representatives and strong fund raising links in the areas of Manchester, Blackpool, Wirral and the North West of England.
Whilst the voluntary team of ChildFlight provide the expertise, enthusiasm and administration, it is the generosity of many companies, organisations and individuals in raising and donating money.
This makes it possible to bring not only sunshine and fun into childrens lives, but a sense of wonder, adventure, laughter and much needed medical help.

Search for Santa
Every year since 1987 ChildFlight have operated a “Search for Santa” Flight from Manchester Airport for approx. 150 children who are social deserving and from underprivileged backgrounds. From a fun filled day at the airport, to the flight itself which takes off looking for Santa. We have provided over 5000 children with the enjoyment and experience of flying.
Finishing off with a meet and great with Santa and all the children receiving a sack full of goodies and a present to enjoy at Christmas.

Holiday of a Lifetime
Biannually since 1991, ChildFlight has provided a “Holiday of a Lifetime” to Florida in the USA, for around 55 children with potentially life-threatening illnesses. Accompanied by their families and along with a medical and Childflight support team, we aim to visit the theme parks of Orlando, including Disney and Universal.
This is an all expenses paid holiday and is a wish come true for a lot of families that can’t experience this magical place, without funding or medical support.
