Great Manchester Run and Great Northern Run
36 ChildFlight runners took part in the Manchester 10k Please see photo of most of the runners prior to the run. It is hoped the runners will raise over £3,500 when all the sponsorships are collected.
Last year 43 ChildFlight runners took part in the 10K Manchester Run 2006 and raised and raised £5,907 in sponsorships.
If you would like to run for Childflight or know someone that would please contact steve@childflight.co.uk, or if you would prefer to sponsor the Childflight runners you can do this online at www.justgiving.com and enter your friend's name as CHILDFLIGHT.
Snowdon Walk
Childflight's annual sponsored walk of Snowdon took place in September and raised over £1300. This year's sponsored walked of Snowdon will take place on Sunday 2nd September... 3,5 miles up 3,559ft and 3.5 miles down! If you would like to take up the challenge then contact steve@childflight.co.uk. Transport from Stockport and Manchester Airport available.
Wirral Walk
The annual Wirral Walk took place in May and raised £1410. The 2007 walk will take place on Sunday 20th May - 15 miles around the North Wirral Coastline from Seacombe Ferry, through New Brighton, Hoylake and West Kirby, finishing at Thurstaston Country Park. It can be as gentle or as strenuous as your like and as long or short as you choose. For information, call Norma on 07771702821.
